The EXTRA series is a new solution that the Officina Meccanica Tornaghi offers to meet needs for great resistance, compactness and small dimensions in the field of functional fittings to be mounted in the pipes of the sofa and bed frames. The EXTRA hinges have been designed to stand great workloads and are the ideal solution for those who seek safety ensured by a high quality product capable to resist external stress. The layered structure with double internal mechanism made of special carbonitrided steel allows to achieve a remarkable wear and tear resistance as well as load bearing capacity. These hinges have been designed to fit 1,2 mm (up to 1,5 mm) thick pipes. Besides the below listed models in order to meet particular needs, numerous versions have already been developed.
